  30. I was surprised that this guy doesn't know about the hundreds of
  31. people who have tried to "explain" and "describe" the Nasca Lines as
  32. something mysterious and amazing.  He seems to think that he's done
  33. something unique for some reason.

  35. And, yeah <smile> one wonders why aliens capable of traveling such 
  36. long distances as required to travel between stars would need landing
  37. strips or navigational aids.  }:-}

  44. It's often annoying how so many people want to negate entirely 
  45. human accomplishment.  When they do something great (like build
  46. a photocopier or some technological wizardry) they feel that because
  47. they themselves are ignorant of its functions, humans couldn't have
  48. done it themselves without some help from powerful aliens.
